My name is Ana Salinas. I love teaching Mathematics, and I am passionate about trying innovative strategies that help support students in developing a growth mindset. I am thrilled when students are engaged in expanding their mathematical knowledge in and outside the classroom. I understand how math can be a struggle as I have experience those obstacles in my past, but it was through determination, perseverance, and seeking different resources that allowed me to better my understanding. I see myself as a continuous learner of Mathematics. I have two Masters, Curriculum and Instruction with ESL Endorsement and Mathematics Education, and I was working on my PhD in Mathematics Education until I took a break to start a family. I am hoping to begin again this summer.
